On the other hand, WoW Classic -- a re-creation of the MMORPG circa 2006 -- will receive a "new" expansion. Burning Crusade first came out in 2007, and it will bring the same content to WoW Classic. This includes the Blood Elf and Draenei races, the area called Outland and more content according to leaked info.

The tweet is Merrill's most engaged post ever with over 17,000 likes and 3,000 retweets at the time of writing. Many high profile names from LoL's esports community such as pro player Yilliang 'Doublelift' Peng and commentator Isaac 'Azael' Cummings were quick to show their support for the idea.

What is an MMORPG? MMORPG stands for Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. What does this mean in layman's terms? It is a game where each player puts themselves in the action in a cooperative environment. Because the game is played online, each player chooses a character and then teams up with other characters to advance the storylin

The price usually varies from one game to another. In some games you will discover that you are only required to pay for onetime fee and the rest charge a monthly membership fee. With the many games available to choose from, you should get your taste.

I've played a LOT of FPS games, having started with the original Doom, and only a couple of titles have stuck out in the proceeding 20-plus years. One of those is Titanfall 1, a game I'm pretty good at, ask anyone, and though Apex Legends isn't quite as accomplished as the Titanfall series it shares a lot of its predecessors' DNA. While I might (unexpectedly) suck at Apex Legends it's still a very satisfying title. It takes the best bits of Overwatch (unique characters and abilities) and PUBG (Battle Royale, need I say more) while adding a couple of Titanfall gaming mechanics tweaks.

Diablo: The big reveal for the show may be the release of a Diablo 2 remake dubbed Diablo II Resurrected. The dungeon crawler remains incredibly popular years after its 2000 release and is a favorite for fans of the franchise. There are few details on what might be different in the rumored remake, along with a likely graphics update.

One of the most surprising and refreshing features of the game is its focus. When you're done, you're done. There's a purity to a game with only one collectible: If you want to complete it, just hunt down the 50 hidden shells. Otherwise, don't worry about countless uncompleted challenges, niggling at the back of your mind, like you might find in those massive, open-world games on PlayStation or Xbox.

Like many events in 2020, BlizzCon was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year, publisher Blizzard will take its fan event and game showcase digital with BlizzConline. The two-day show will reveal new content for the company's popular franchises and let fans hear more straight from the developers making the games.

When it finally came out last January, my blog fear that it'd disappoint was washed away by joy at how much fun it was ... before that was replaced by the sheer terror caused by the pursuing me throughout the Raccoon City Police Department. This familiar environment that I'd explored endlessly in felt fresh and scary again. Even the zombies seemed completely different, lurching about unpredictably and requiring a whole lot of shots to take down.

Where can I watch BlizzConline? In previous years, fans would need a virtual ticket to watch the stream of the event. Luckily, since there's no in-person convention, Blizzard has made the entire event free to watch. The livestream will be available on GameSpot's channel on YouTube.

Climbing Mount Taragon, becoming a pirate on Bilgewater, protecting Ionia with Shen and the rest of the Kinkou Order, exploring the Shadow Isles or taking part in the war between Noxus and Demacia - the possibilities are endless and that's exactly what you would hope for from an MMO or MMORPG.
